Vidyanjali
The Vidyanjali programme, initiated by the Ministry of Education in India, aims to enhance the quality of education in government schools through community and private sector involvement. It facilitates volunteers, including individuals and organizations, to contribute their time, skills, and resources to improve school infrastructure, teaching, and learning outcomes. Launched under the Samagra Shiksha scheme, Vidyanjali focuses on two main components: Participatory Activities: Volunteers engage in activities such as reading to students, conducting extracurricular sessions, providing career guidance, and supporting teachers. Donations and Sponsorships: Contributions in kind or monetary form help in infrastructure development, provision of learning materials, and enhancement of school facilities.
